Local Heroes Bank Street is a family run, sports and event oriented restaurant that welcomes families, armchair quarterbacks and all levels of sporting teams. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, our kitchen serves you Sunday, Monday and Tuesday until midnight and the bar closes at 1 am. On Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday the kitchen stays open later until 1 am and the bar until 2am. Local Heroes Bank Street is situated between Heron Road and Kilborn Avenue in Ottawa’s south end. Ample parking is available. The spacious restaurant allows for a comfortable, delicious meal and conversation regardless of the time of day.

Our Facilities

Local Heroes dining room is approximately 4200 square feet and seats 256 people. There’s lots of room for team and group events. A beautiful functioning fireplace in the middle of the dining room provides a warm atmosphere. The dining room also features a huge cathedral ceiling. Our newly renovated patio is the biggest on Bank Street with 1600 square feet and holds 80 people. It sports two projector screens at either end of the patio, held up by football goalposts. Be part of the action at Local Heroes-the volume is always on.

Local Heroes Bank Street is a sports fanatics dream comes true for all the available sporting action. With over twenty LCD HD televisions as well as five HD projection screens, you won’t miss a play.
